  • Royal Coffee Shop in Asakusa, established around the 1960s, carries the charm of a bygone era with a delightful vintage aroma. Their breakfast set, priced at ¥620, offers great value, including a choice of coffee or tea, salad, and toast. It’s a pity they don’t offer boiled eggs, but the overall experience still makes it a must-visit spot.

  • It’s quite a perfect place to spent my idle morning with light breakfast, enjoying looking around the local and tourists having small talk under such an old Japanese style coffee shop. My breakfast is light, right fitting me for next food if you are planning to wait long in your schedule. Environment is nice, you feel it so good even style is kind of old yet it’s with very good maintenance. Very recommended place for tourist as it also located in prime location.

  • The hot pressed toast and coffee are normal, but the "Kamakurayama cheese cake" is good. Unlike regular New York cheesecake cake which has a heavy and sticky texture, their cheesecake has more butter texture and it melts easily in your mouth. If you are a cheesecake lover, I recommend you give it a try. *Cash only*

  • The most beautiful cafe, a beautiful french inspired decor and the cafe was recently renovated as it dates back to the 60's. For a typical japanee breakfast with the locals this is the place to go!

  • We got the set A breakfast and it was super delicious! It comes with an egg sandwich, cole slaw salad, yogurt and coffee. We opted for the iced creamy coffee with whip cream. Everything tasted great and the decor is retro. Highly recommend you visit!
